How to Request Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your Ussembly account in two ways:

1. In the App: Navigate to your Profile, then select Account Settings and choose "Delete Account."
2. By Email: Send a request to support@ussembly.com from the email address associated with your account.

What Data Is Deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove the following:

• Your account information (email, name, password)
• Your profile data (bio, city, profile image)
• Your messages and chat history
• Your endorsements (given and received)
• Your project memberships and circle associations
• Your connection records
• Contact hashes stored on our servers

Data stored locally on your device (such as cached contact data in SQLite) is not automatically removed by account deletion. You can clear this data by uninstalling the App.

What Data May Be Retained

In limited circumstances, we may retain certain anonymized or aggregated records:

• Data Integrity: Anonymized records necessary to maintain the integrity of projects and circles you participated in (e.g., contribution counts, anonymized activity logs)
• Legal Obligations: Records required to be retained by law, regulation, or legal proceedings

Retained data will not be personally identifiable.

Timeline

Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days of receipt. You will receive a confirmation email when your account and data have been deleted.
